This Privacy Policy explains how Aman Kumar (operating as BurnClock) ("I", "me", "my") collects,

uses, and protects your information when you use BurnClock ("the App").

By using the App, you agree to the practices described

here.



1. Information I Collect


Information you provide directly

  • **Account information:** name and email address when you create an account
  • **Personal details:** date of birth, biological sex, height, and body

    • weight — used to calculate your nutrition and fitness targets

  • **Health and fitness data:** body fat percentage, workout logs (exercises,

    • sets, reps, weight lifted), meal logs (foods eaten, calories, macros),

    and daily step counts

  • **Goal information:** your target weight, pace preference, and activity

    • level

  • **Usage data:** which features you use and when, to improve the App
  • **Device information:** device type and operating system version, for

    • compatibility purposes


    Information from third parties

  • If you sign in with Apple or Google, I receive your name and email

    • address from those services, subject to their privacy policies



    2. How I Use Your Information


    I use your information solely to:

  • Calculate your personalised calorie targets, macro goals, and body

    • composition projections

  • Power the AI-assisted meal logging feature (food photos and text

    • descriptions are sent to Google's Gemini AI service for analysis)

  • Show you your progress over time through the body avatar and trend graphs
  • Send you reminder notifications if you enable them
  • Maintain and improve the App

    • I do not sell your personal data. I do not share your health or fitness

    data with advertisers.



    3. Health and Body Data — Special Notice


    This App collects sensitive health-related information including body

    weight, body fat estimates, and dietary intake. This data is used

    exclusively to power the App's features for your personal benefit.


    Important limitations: The App provides estimates and projections based

    on established scientific formulas. It is not a medical device and does not

    provide medical advice. Body fat percentage figures are labeled "projected"

    because they are model-based estimates, not clinical measurements. Consult

    a healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or

    exercise regime.



    4. AI-Assisted Meal Analysis


    When you photograph or describe a meal:

  • The image or text is sent to Google's Gemini AI service via an encrypted

    • connection

  • Nutrition data is cross-referenced against the USDA FoodData Central

    • database

  • Barcode scans are looked up against the Open Food Facts database
  • Images are compressed before transmission and are not stored permanently

    • by the AI service


    Meal photos you choose to save are stored in your account on Supabase

    (our backend provider) in a private, access-controlled folder.



    5. Data Storage and Security


    Your data is stored on Supabase servers. Data in transit is encrypted

    using TLS. Access to your data is restricted by Row Level Security — no

    other user can access your data, and I access it only for support purposes

    with your permission.


    The App also stores data locally on your device for offline use. This

    local data is protected by your device's own security.



    6. Third-Party Services


    The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own

    privacy policies:

    7. Data Retention


    Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete

    your account at any time from the Profile tab → Account → Delete Account.

    Account deletion permanently removes all your data from our servers within

    30 days. Local data on your device is erased immediately on deletion.



    8. Children's Privacy


    The App is not intended for users under 13 years of age. The onboarding

    flow blocks sign-up for users who indicate they are under 13. If you

    believe a child under 13 has provided information through the App, please

    contact me at the address below and I will delete it promptly.



    9. Your Rights


    You have the right to:

  • **Access** the data I hold about you
  • **Correct** inaccurate data (most fields are directly editable in the App)
  • **Delete** your account and all associated data
  • **Export** a summary of your data (available via Profile → Export PDF

    • Summary Report)

    10. Business Transactions


    If BurnClock is acquired, merged with another entity, or its assets are

    transferred, your personal information may be transferred as part of that

    transaction. You will be notified of any such change and any choices you

    may have regarding your information via the App or by email.



    11. Changes to This Policy


    I may update this policy as the App evolves. If changes are significant,

    I will notify you through the App. The "Last updated" date at the top

    reflects when it was last changed.
